Robert Bryan Allison, a beloved father, brother, and veteran, left an indelible mark on those who knew him. Bryan was born in January 1974 in Corpus Christi, Texas and experienced extreme hardship in his early years, including trauma and homelessness, which he overcame with remarkable resiliency.
Joining the Army in 1993, Bryan served with distinction until 2005, including an esteemed role with the 3rd Infantry “TOG” at Arlington National Cemetery. His dedication extended beyond military service as he pursued a career in mortuary science, providing compassionate care to the families of deceased military members.
Despite his struggles with PTSD, depression, and many other personal challenges, Bryan found solace and purpose in his later years through his faith and connection with his horse, Glorious Mayhem. Even after his terminal cancer diagnosis, Bryan remarkably continued to inspire others with his message of gratitude and the belief every day is truly a gift.
Bryan was interred at Arlington National Cemetery on 27 January 2025 but his legacy of transformation, faith, and commitment to the healing of others lives on through our work at Fixin’ Fences.
